Dress Warmly for School

The cold winter weather has officially arrived!

Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately for these cold days. Hats, boots, snow pants, warm jackets, layers, scarves, and gloves or mittens are essential for students to safely be outside for any period of time, whether it is walking to school, playing outside at recess or just running to and from the car at arrival and dismissal.

It is important that children not be allowed to leave the house with exposed skin (ears, hands, legs, etc.), as this increases the chance of frostbite in cold weather.  Please call the school if you need information or referrals to agencies that can help your family secure winter clothing. We want all students to be comfortable while enjoying these brisk winter days.  As always, we also ask that you stay tuned to weather so that your family can be prepared.  Thank you!
