Many thanks to all parents who volunteered time for the Book Fair, donated food for Parent-Teacher Conferences and came in to pop popcorn last Friday. Your volunteerism is highly appreciated. It is through these acts of kindness that help us model and fulfill our mission.
In order to promote and celebrate better attendance, your child is in a monthly attendance competition. The class with the highest attendance percentage at the end of the month will earn a Fun Hour at school. The Fun Hour consists of activities and games that students love. We encourage you to make sure your child is in school every day.
On October 18th, we will host Fall Fest. For those of you unfamiliar with this event, this is our annual Fall season celebration, where students have the opportunity to play a boat-load of games, win candy, hang out with friends and family, all under the roof of Jefferson Elementary. You should see information coming home this week regarding this event.
In order to help prepare for Fall Fest, we are in need of volunteers and candy. If you are willing to donate your time or candy, please sign-up at Jefferson FaceBook JCC.
Finally, letters will go home this week inquiring about allergies and food substitutions your child may need. We ask that you promptly return this information so we have this information on file.
