Here is your weekly message from Principal Kinsey for your weekly updates.
First off we would like to thank all families who donated candy, baked goods, and most of all time to last Friday’s Fall Fest. Your contributions to Jefferson are appreciated more than you know as we would not be able to pull off events like these without your support.
If you have a student in grades 3, 4, or 5, your child will take the state test, M-STEP this Spring. This Thursday, October 24th, we will hold a parent informational from 6 to 7 p.m. in our media center. This meeting will give you an insight into what your child will be expected to do on the state test as well as provide you with resources to help your child prepare at home. In addition, if your child is in the 4th or 5th grade and attended Jefferson last school year, we will also help you understand the M-STEP parent report sent home a few weeks ago. Don’t worry if you do not have a copy of the report, arrive early and we can print one for you.
Finally, Krispy Kreme orders are due this Friday, October 25th. Don’t forget to get your doughnuts.
