Jefferson's Week 19 Updates

The flu season has come at us like a storm this year.  The latest report is this flu strand has been one of the worse seen in years. In conjunction with the typical colds and viruses, this has definitely impacted our attendance over the last couple of months.  However, we understand that one of the best ways to combat viruses and not spread them is to stay at home. If your child is ill or sent home from school with an undiagnosed rash, frequent diarrhea, eye or ear discharge, green nasal discharge, an excessive cough, active head lice, or vomiting, please wait 24 hours before sending them to school and consider seeking your primary health care assistance.  Our goal is to do the best we can to prevent the spread of viruses and provide a top-notch education.

This Friday, Gleaners will be at Jefferson from 1 to 3 p.m.  On the menu is pork loin roast, rice, elbow macaroni, canned salmon, and fruits and vegetables.  Gleaners is welcome to all, so please come out and join us.
