Welcome to the 2021 - 2022 school year!

 

We are thrilled to welcome you back to school. South Redford School District is such a special place to learn and grow. We have high expectations for each and every student. Our students are kind, compassionate, and inquisitive. Together with our dedicated staff, we strive to make connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe. Our South Redford School District mission is We Learn, We Innovate, We Lead. We will continue to guide our mission to provide a rigorous and joyful school environment. Our goal is to encourage active student engagement to foster a lifetime love for learning.

 

Partnering with families will be crucial this year as we work together to accelerate learning. A stronger emphasis will be placed on social-emotional learning in all of our preschool through Grade 5 classrooms.

 

Our Welcome Back to School Popsicles on the Playground will be on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. outdoors.

 

Grades K- 5: First Day of School will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 8:35 - 3:30 p.m.

Arrival begins at 8:30 a.m. Please refrain from dropping your student(s) off before 8:30 a.m.

 

Pre-K Schedule:
*Tuesday, September 7, 2021: Pre-K Orientation (More information to come)
*Wednesday, September. 8, 2021: PK Group A: 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
*Thursday, September 9, 2021: PK Group B: 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
*Friday, September 10, 2021 : All PK Full Day: 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

 

We are continuing to monitor the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic. You will be hearing from us further regarding safety protocols. We will take every measure to provide a rigorous education while maintaining the safety and security of our students and staff.
